The ACLU and NAACP have created this flowchart to help returning citizens determine if they are eligible to vote. This is related to Amendment 4, which passed with 64% of the vote and restored voting rights for over 1 million disenfranchised citizens in Florida. Unfortunately, the will of Florida voters has been weakened by legislation passed in Tallahassee to "clarify" the amendment. The ensuing legal battle has mostly upheld Amendment 4. Unfortunately Governor DeSantis has said he will continue to appeal.
