Terry L. Bozarth

October 21, 1939 - April 14, 2025

Terry Lorraine Bozarth (nee Tillotson), age 85, passed away in the early morning hours of April 14, 2025, at her home in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. 

Born on October 21, 1939, in Ottumwa, Iowa. Terry was the daughter of loving parents Terry Lester and LaVera Tillotson. She was the eldest of seven siblings, Barry, Janice Mae, Bruce, Benny, Mark and Garry. Through the years they formed an inseparable bond and affectionately referred to themselves as the Magnificent Seven. 

Terry was married to her devoted husband Donald Bozarth, marking their union of forty -eight years this past December. Their marriage was manifested with a deep affection for each other that endured the test of time. They were truly inseparable throughout their lives together. 

Terry dedicated her life caring for the less fortunate and providing opportunities for those in need. This commitment was exemplified through her tireless efforts serving as Chief Executive Officer for over two decades at the Adopt-A-Family Foundation in West Palm Beach, Florida, as well as other nonprofits.

She was preceded in death by her parents Terry and LaVera Tillotson, sisters-in-laws Janis Tillotson, Jeneane Tillotson and her first husband Robert McClelland.

Terry is lovingly remembered by her brothers Barry Tillotson, Bruce (Midge) Tillotson, Benny Tillotson, Mark Tillotson, Garry Tillotson and sister Janice Mae (Thomas) Frankum. Her sons Timothy (Patricia) McClelland, Thomas McClelland, Ted (Yvette) McClelland, Mark (Jennifer) McClelland, Benjamin Bozarth and daughters Tamara McClelland, Jennifer (Andreas) Abrahamsson. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. Her legacy lives on through them and all those fortunate to have known her.

A celebration of life is to be planned and announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to honor Terry's memory can be made to Adopt-A-Family Foundation in West Palm Beach, Florida or Okaloosa (County Florida) Democrats.
