School Superintendent Chambers Puts Money Ahead of the Health of our Kids

On August 9, 2021, Okaloosa County Democratic Executive Committee member Taylor Kennedy attended the Okaloosa County School Board Meeting along with several of our volunteers to encourage the board to do the right thing and institute a mask mandate. In this video, Superintendent Marcus Chambers explains how he is being blackmailed by Governor DeSantis. In one breath he says the safety of children is his number one priority. In the next, he says he won't buck DeSantis because it means he will lose funding. We need local officials who are willing to do the right thing and stand up to our Governor, whose policies have made Florida a COVID hot spot. Chambers is not one of them.
